Please join us for the next meeting of York’s Human Rights and Equalities Board, which will be taking place from 11.00am – 1.00pm on Wednesday 23rd September in West Offices, Station Rise.
The topics due to be discussed include:
- the differing aspects of the attainment gap in the city and explore the three elements of the recommendations in the report,
- the rise in hate crime in the city and the recommendation to take a human right’s based approach to community cohesion and inclusion, and
- the ongoing wide gender pay gap across the city, along with disability and ethnicity pay gaps and propose ways to move forward in co-producing solutions.
