We have two mailing lists and youu can join one or both:
(1) Subscribe to our General Mailing List and get a regular, weekly email about human rights-related events in York, as well as national and international events (and occasional non-events related emails). A regularly updated calendar of events can also be found on the Events page of the website.
(2) Subscribe to our Disability Mailing List for York Disability Week mailings and occasional other disability-related emails throughout the year.
Volunteering
If you are interested in volunteering with us on either a regular or an ad hoc basis, please contact us using the form at the bottom of this page and tell us what skills, experience and time you have to offer. Please note that we do not offer internships.
Volunteering opportunities range from undertaking a range of tasks for the Network itself to supporting York Disability Rights Forum (www.ydrf.org.uk ), York Disability Week (www.yorkdisabilityweek.org), York International Women’s Week (www.yorkwomen.org.uk) and others. Our volunteers need to be highly self-motivated as they are often working semi-independently.
